Before moving into my role serving the entire campus as part of Audio Visual Services, I served as the Staff Technical Director for Longwood University's Theatre Progam.

In this role, I worked with incredibly talented designers who had very high expectations of excellence. The need to develop efficient solutions to complicated design challenges through the development process was ever-present.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Create/interpret design drawings and plan construction/fabrication/ load in and installation of all scenic, property, and lighting elements

• Manage crew of 5-30 students to ensure efficient and safe installation of all design elements

• Assist in curriculum review and revision for the Design and Tech Theatre Courses
