If I had to pick the one job that I learned the most about the theatre industry, it would be serving as Managing Director for The Post Playhouse in Crawford Nebraska. Having spent the majority of my career in the scene shop, being placed in such an administirial role was a major shift for me.

While I can't take any credit for any of the actual artistic endeavors of The Post for those two seasons, the day to day operational responsibilities certainly required the finding of creative solutions. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for Board of Directors

• Working with the Artistic Director, manage fundraising and marketing efforts

• Tracking royalties

• Manage payroll

• Assist in Grant application and follow up

• Head of Front of House Staff
